We begin with a list of questions that I generally ask during Legacy Tree filming. Questions are fine-tuned based on our preliminary conversation. Additional questions can be customized to fit the guest, your family and your stories. Introspective questions/topics could include: When in your life did you feel most alive? What has been your biggest passion? Let’s discuss the principles, rules, values and ethos that you try to live by and that have guided your life. How have they changed or evolved throughout your life? What are the biggest challenges you have faced? Throughout your experiences, what have you learned about how the world really works? When you reflect on your life, was there a time that you now wish you would have made a different choice or action? What are your thoughts about being a parent/grandparent? What do you know about living a happy and successful life now, that you didn't know when you were younger- Do you define happiness and success differently now than you did when you were first starting out? What is your advice to future generations of your family? If you could send one post-death message from beyond, what would you tell your family and descendants?

When possible, I prefer to interview and film at the guest’s home. This is where people are generally most comfortable. It is also possible to film outdoors. I have occasionally done interviews via Zoom, FaceTime or video conference call when the situation required and allowed for streaming video.

We can travel to record your interview project. Cost is dependent on location and the extent of travel but we are happy to discuss the details based on your location and specific needs.

Think about and ask family members what stories and areas of life you should include. In addition, you can collect the photos or items that you’d like included in the video for us to capture on the day of filming.

Yes, there is an opportunity for you to see and give feedback on the videos prior to delivery.

We accept personal checks and credit cards. • How is the payment structured? 50% of total cost is paid either ahead of the first meeting or on day of the first meeting. The remaining balance is paid upon completion of the final product.
